Book Club
The Book Club meets monthly on the day and time indicated above. Members of the group recommend books - fiction, non-fiction, old and new - which we will then all read and discuss at our next gathering. We have lively discussions along with light refreshments. Music enhances the worship experience and the mission of the church, celebrating and spreading God's Word through instrumental and vocal participation. The Music Ministry currently consists of three groups: Chancel Choir, Special Music, and Sound Team. The Chancel Choir rehearses and sings from September through mid-May. They present sacred music every week during the Sunday worship service. They also participate in other special events throughout the year. Special Music consists of vocal and instrumental solos, duets, and other small groupings of musicians. This Music Ministry allows those with special talents to praise God through music with a more flexible and short-term commitment. The Sound Team sets up equipment and operates the sound board during our church services. This is another great opportunity to share one's time and talent for the glory of God.
