Congratulations on your upcoming marriage and thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding! The Church of the Isles wants your marriage to be a joyous and memorable event and we will work with you to make sure everything runs smoothly and reflects your wishes. We celebrate that you want your wedding to be grounded in God, the Creator of all things good. And as a Christian Church, we celebrate that you want your wedding under the banner of love that Jesus offers to everyone. Having God and Jesus be a part of your wedding day offers your marriage a foundation that cannot be shaken! Marriage is a gift from God and we join with you in celebrating the covenant commitment that you are preparing to make. As you move through life, know that the Church of the Isles will be here to provide support, nurture, challenge and comfort for you and your new family. We are here not just for your wedding day, but for all the days to come.

The Wedding Ceremony

A wedding in any church is a religious ceremony, and each couple should take this into consideration when planning their wedding. The pastor will work with each couple to make sure that their wedding reflects the traditions and culture of the participants. Therefore, family traditions, special music and personalized touches are encouraged. After all, it's your wedding day! The pastor will offer resources and work with you both to ensure that your wedding is exactly what you desire. All facets of the religious ceremony must be approved by the pastor.
